Entrance Gate Construction: After previously removing the asphalt from the road in front of the Clubhouse, the asphalt removal continues to the front of the office and at the resort entrance. They are working fast!

UPDATE BELOW: Emergency Water Shutdown Warning: Evening of Thursday, April 15. We have a water line break at Indian Wells RV Resort and are awaiting the arrival of a plumbing service. At this time resort residents are probably experiencing lower than normal water pressure. Later this evening the water for the entire resort will probably have to be shut down for the repairs. We will not have the water shut down any longer than absolutely necessary and will update you tomorr...ow morning or as soon as we have information from the professionals. We apologize for any inconvenience. UPDATE: After Sheri contacted several plumbing companies, she finally got Southwest Plumbing to commit to after-hours work. They started work around 10:30pm and was able to get water back on around 3:30 this morning. Hopefully very few of you were impacted by the water shut down. We appreciate Southwest Plumbing coming to our rescue in the middle of the night so we would have water upon awakening. Duane & Sheri stayed with the project to completion, an example of their dedication to our resort.

Major construction warning: Please take note of the entrance access and try to minimize your trips in & out of the resort. Work crews will start work early in the morning removing asphalt from in front of the dog park to the resort entrance. Access in & out will be impacted and will continue with occasional delays. Please exercise caution, mind the cones & drive very slowly to safeguard the workers. Try to limit your trips in and out of the resort to limit disruptions to ...the workers. Please refer all questions to the office, not the workers. April 16: Removal of asphalt April 17 & 18: Install Sensors throughout the weekend April 19: Lay down new asphalt & cure (time dependent upon ambient temperature, the hotter the days, the longer the cure time) Limit trips in & out of construction zone throughout the weekend Limit trips to the office: Communicate by email or phone There will be no parking available in front of the Clubhouse & Office during construction. Disruptions to the workers only adds time to the project, so please combine your errands & shopping trips in order to minimize the impact on the project. Trash pick-up by Burrtec will be suspended through the curing of the asphalt, so please hold your trash. Overflowing dumpsters will only complicate the progress for everyone. Scheduled Water Shut Down announcement: Monday, February 1st from 9:00 until completion, hopefully before noon barring any unforeseen complications. We’ve saved several of our water line repairs so that we only have to shut down the water once. The project should be finished by noon, but we’re hoping water is back in service sooner than that. Rest assured that we are doing our best to minimize the inconvenience.

At long last, our hot tubs at Indian Wells RV Resort are open! Remember, social distancing is still required. Only one guest or one household in each hot tub at a time. Please follow the COVID requirements so we can keep our hot tub open. There's no better way to enjoy winter in the desert than to soak in the hot water, viewing the horizon of palm trees in front of the snow covered San Jacinto Mountains.

Indian Wells RV Resort celebrated on Tuesday, December 22nd with a "socially distanced" Christmas Golf Cart Parade and an Outdoor Theater viewing of Home Alone. A special thanks for the loyal guest who used his projector and the side of his RV to show the movie! Of course, there was food involved, pizza, Christmas treats and hot cocoa. Check out the pictures of the festively decorated golf carts, people, and pets. There's nothing as heartwarming as the excitement of children at Christmas!

Christmas Parade & Movie Night is almost here! Tuesday Evening, December 22nd We've already seen several festive golf carts decorated for the holidays. Meet in front of the clubhouse at 5:00pm (masks & social distancing, please) for contest judging and then join the parade through the park. If you're not part of the parade, you can view from the safety of your ...own site. At 6:00pm, join us at site #318 Mountain View for an outdoor theater event, our very own viewing of the hilarious Christmas movie, Home Alone. Bring your chairs, warm clothing & lap blankets and have some great laughs for the holidays. We'll have propane heaters, hot chocolate & Christmas treats, too.
