The gallery was constructed by Campbell on the ground floor of his 19th century Victorian town house, created to exhibit art and performance from local artists in the Bay Area. @inclinegallery Facebook: Incline Gallery Incline Gallery is an alternative art space that fosters relationships between community and artists. We create opportunities for emerging as well as established artists to exhibit in a non-cube format that challenges and encourages experimentation in exhibition design. Our role continues to expand by facilitating outside curators, international exchanges and partnerships within a community based organization. We Are Closed for Construction! Due to a recent fire in our building, Incline Gallery is closed till later this Spring. Though it is unfortunate that our plans for the start of 2020 have been shifted, we feel very lucky that our space experienced minor damages. However the rest of the building experienced a lot of damage and we have to remain closed till everything is back to normal. We want to thank everyone who has reached out to us and has offered to help. We really appreciate it very much! Our team will be using this time to gear up for an exciting reopening of our space. Stay tuned!

'Consumerism has found a way to grab onto installation art because it’s profitable,' says Robin Birdd of MACRO WAVES, an Oakland-based design collective of multidisciplinary artists of color, which is important given how difficult it can be for artists especially artists of color to secure funding and resources for their work in the Bay Area." We are currently closed due to a fire that broke out in our building early Friday morning. Though there is major cleaning up to be done, we were very lucky that the gallery experienced only minor damages and more importantly no one was hurt. Unfortunately, we will be canceling our 9th Anniversary Group Show scheduled to open this coming Friday, 12/13. We are hoping to be able to get everything cleared up and back to normal ASAP. Stay tuned for an alternative date to celebrate our gallery. Thank you to everyone that has already reached out to us! Any support is appreciated @ Incline
