On Valentine’s Day the universe gave me a break, it wasn’t the break I was expecting though It was a broken wrist. (Don’t worry I will be fine.) and I have to laugh at myself for being unclear about how I asked for that break. But what it really makes me reflect on is that some injuries in life are very visible Like my wrist. While other injuries are almost impossible to see, unless we look closely. These are emotional injuries, mental injuries, injuries to our soul or spi...rit. We experience these injuries through looking at what isn’t working in our lives. We can see where we aren’t achieving what we want, where we feel held back inside or where we hear ourselves talk negatively to ourselves. These are the doorways for us to step through, to witness where the roads in our mind are taking us, and we don’t necessarily want to go. I’ve had a lot of mind remapping that I’ve done inside my brain just over the past week with my wrist brake. Getting clear on the time I need to take for myself, so that I don’t need such a major break in my world! Lol. I feel very blessed that I have the ability to take the time for myself and still be present with my clients and my daughter the way I want to be. That I am blessed to be having surgery in the next couple of days that will allow me to be active very quickly again. And I have the mindset to make it all move as smoothly as possible. This is what I want for all of my clients as well! The ability to encounter some thing in their life, reframe it, remap it in their brains so that it’s no longer a dark road that they need to go down, and then continue on in life in the way they want to! . . . #injury #remapping #inawakeningmind #psychk #takeabreak

If I’ve learned one thing from what’s been happening over the past year +, it’s that we, as humans, take an awful lot for granted. If we want to stay strong during tough times, we need to take the joy that life offers us. A starry night, a bright flower, a bird singing outside your window, the belly laugh of a childif you look, you’ll find joy all around you. Most of us, myself included, have this habit of focusing on the big things and measuring our lives in milestones. Lif...e is made up of millions of small moments that make it worth living. . . . . #inawakeningmind #masterymindset #gratitude #joy #smallmoments #psychk #mindremapping See more

Who is your default? Who do you trust? According to the implicit association test, which measures unconscious bias and has been taken by over 5 million people, our bias is extremely skewed. Biases are the stories we make up about people before we know who they actually are. Walk toward your discomfort. [Do an inner] inventory to see where you are, expand your social and professional circles. Says, Vern Myers, diversity advocate. How many authentic relationships do you h...ave with folks who have any major difference from who you are? Go deeper, closer, further and build the kind of relationships, friendships that truly cause you to see the holistic person and to really go against the stereotypes. And if you find yourself wanting to change your biases, I have helped thousands of clients do just that. . . . #createchange #progress #innerstate #inawakeningmind #mindremapping #authentic #psychk #mindset #powerful #courage #friendship #authentic See more

Language is the doorway to change. Do you know that we humans are always in a perpetual state of creating our own inner reality, which creates our sense of self. And I know that if you are reading this, you are fully capable of making deep changes in your own mind. Research suggests that language is a direct doorway into the emotional centers of a brain. Here’s why. ... The reality is that we can use words to change our minds and remodel our brains from the inside out. Words pack an emotional punch, meaning, and power. Each culture has trigger words that create floods of sensations and emotions in the body. This is the dramatic power of language. . . . #langauge #createchange #progress #innerstate #inawakeningmind #mindremapping #authentic #psychk #mindset #powerful #courage
