Please join our 1st Implementation Science Symposium at UCSF! Friday, April 28th 12-1:30pm UCSF, Center for Vulnerable... Populations (CVP) 2789 25th Street, Suite 350 Lunch will be provided. The UCSF CTSI Implementation Program, the Innovation Center in Action-oriented REsearch (I-CARE) in Aging and Palliative Care, the Center for Vulnerable Populations (CVP), and the Clinical Innovation Center-Value Improvement Program (CIC-VIP) at UCSF are working together to support symposia concerning implementation research at UCSF. How to decide on the right trial design for your implementation study? Our speakers (Margaret Handley, PhD, MPH; Tung Nguyen MD; and Ralph Gonzales, MD MSPH) will discuss their work with step-wedged and cluster randomized trials as well as clinical demonstration projects. Chuck McCulloch, PhD will discuss statistical implications. SPEAKERS Margaret Handley, PhD, MPH, Professor of Epidemiology & Biostatistics will discuss step-wedged trials Tung Nguyen, MD, Professor of Medicine will discuss cluster-randomized trials Ralph Gonzales, MD, MSPH, Associate Dean for Clinical Innovation will discuss clinical demonstrations Chuck McCulloch, PhD, Professor of Epidemiology & Biostatistics will discuss statistical implications/tradeoffs Lunch will be provided. The 24th St. Mission BART station is a 15 minute walk. Parking: The parking garage can be found on 24th street between Utah and San Bruno.
