En respuesta a todas las preguntas que hemos recibido sobre este asunto, el Presidente firmó hoy la Orden Ejecutiva que anunció el 20 de Abril del 2020, que entrará en vigencia mañana, 23 de Abril del 2020, a las 11:59 p.m. y cual dura un período inicial de 60 días. Para resumir - La Orden se aplica a (prohíbe la entrada a E.U.) (1) aquellos que están procesando sus casos de residencia permanente a través de un Consulado / Embajada de los Estados Unidos en el extranjero; (2) ...casos de empleo y familiares y visas de diversidad, con notables excepciones para trabajadores de la salud, EB5, cónyuges e hijos menores de ciudadanos estadounidenses; (3) padres de ciudadanos estadounidenses; y (4) familiares de residentes permanentes legales. La Orden NO se aplica a (1) residentes permanentes; (2) personas actualmente en los Estados Unidos que han solicitado el ajuste de estatus / residencia permanente; (3) aquellos que ya tienen su visa pero no han ingresado; (3) cónyuges e hijos menores de ciudadanos estadounidenses (incluso si están fuera de los EE. In response to all who have reached out to us concerning this matter, the President today signed the Executive Order ("Order") he announced on 04/20/20. The Order goes into effect tomorrow, 04/23/2020, at 11:59 p.m. and lasts for an initial period of 60 days. To summarize - The Order prohibits the entry to the U.S. to (1) those who are processing their cases for permanent residence (green cards) via a U.S. Consulate/Embassy abroad; (2) employment-based and family-based case...s and diversity visas, with notable exceptions for healthcare workers, EB5, spouses and minor children of U.S. Citizens (immediate relatives); (3) parents of U.S. citizens; and (4) relatives of lawful permanent residents (green card holders). The Order does NOT apply to (1) permanent residents; (2) applicants currently in the U.S. who have applied for adjustment of status/ permanent residence; (3) those who already have their visa but have not entered; (3) spouses and minor children of U.S. citizens (even if they are outside the US.); (4) spouses and minor children of members of the Armed Forces; (5) asylum, special immigrants, and others; and (6) national interest visas. https://www.whitehouse.gov//proclamation-suspending-entr/
