Just wrote this for a post; use it if it's helpful. Tips for worship at home: Get in the mindset.... - *gulp* Dress like you're going to church. I know, pj mass is appealing, but dressing like you're going to God's house can help you set this time aside. -Create a space around your screen. Light a candle, set up a cross, arrange special seating. Participate in the service. -If you're able, print the bulletin. Do responses aloud, sing the songs, turn off other screens. If you're in a group and you're ALL doing it, it's not as uncomfortable. -Crank up the sound. It helps you sing out, and makes it the ONE thing you're doing. -During offering time, sign up for eGiving or write your check and put it in an envelope to send in. (Grace is manning the live chat during the service; ask questions if you have them.) -After worship, debrief as a family. Give each other hugs, talk about the blessings and hardships this last week, and make a plan for serving your neighbors this coming week. God be with you this morning!
