If you are within striking distance of Merced we encourage you to stop by and wander the Merced Sunrise Rotary Field of Honor. Over 1000 American flags flying on the Merced College lawn honoring veterans, active duty military and first responders. If you have children who need a break from their remote learning this is a great school field trip, especially the display of historical flags in the center of the field. Every flag from Betsy Ross' to present. The field is free to the public and open 24/7 until Saturday. It is beautiful at night under the lights.
