We've been grappling with the proper way in which to go forward selling our wares during a time of such political unrest and under the presidency of someone so vehemently averse to many of our core values. What we keep coming back to is that we need to continue to put forth our best effort to be an environmentally-minded, community-oriented place where all people are welcomed, accepted and made to feel comfortable, confident and loved. ALL are invited to shop with us, sit w...ith us, talk with us about your hopes, fears and actions. We will also be donating a percentage of our proceeds to different organizations through the year that need help & attention, now more than ever. This weekend 10% of all sales will be donated to Planned Parenthood as a symbol of our support and to offer continued momentum to the proposal recently penned by Obama to protect them from state defunding. Along with @mercyvintage & @wearegoodstock we will be donating 10% of all today's sales to She Should Run, a non-profit that aims to get more women elected into leadership roles. We celebrate all the women who won senate and congressional victories last night - their work now is critical. May a younger generation continue to believe they can follow in these footsteps. Wine will also be flowing, come in for a drink, a hug and help us take the first steps towards putting the pieces back together. We believe in human dignity and love #notourpresident
