Language Conversation Tables continues to be I-House’s most popular event with recurring practice sessions every week. This Spring, we’re offering five languages: French, Korean, Mandarin, Spanish, and Tamil, all led by student hosts! Practice languages from all over the world and connect with your peers in fun, group settings on Tuesdays at 5PM, starting Week 2 all the way through Week 8. Sign up @ tinyurl.com/SP21LCTS to reserve your spot for our first virtual session on April 6th!
GIHON Ethiopian Kitchen, located in North Park, is our first Take-Out Tuesday highlight of Spring! Slice of San Diego extends global learning beyond the campus through outings to cultural festivals, museums, and other unique locations. While we are currently unable to gather in-person, we encourage you to safely visit a curated collection of murals throughout our very own San Diego community. The first featured mural is In Chains by Marcos Ramírez ERRE, installed September 2020. Utilizing the symbol of an eye chart, Ramírez ERRE explores issues around race and how history is recorded. Learn more about ERRE’s work, and how to visit the mural by swiping through our photos below.

Thank you to the many UC San Diego students who applied to join the team at I-House. We have concluded our search and truly appreciate the widespread interest in supporting the International House movement. Thank you to everyone who was a part of the I-House community during the 2019-2020 academic year!
