Ohlone College professor Suporn joined Stanford’s ARMLab and utilized AI development for ASL Translation to bridge a communication gap between signers and non-signers. Inspired by the meaningful use of technology in her Summer Fellowship, Suporn developed curriculum for addressing social issues through developing technologies. This year, Suporn's students will take the knowledge they gain through her computer science courses and implement a solution to a societal need of their choice!
