Officer Spotlight Corinna Gonzales | EE | Treasurer Fun Facts : I have a black cat named Loki and I moved from the Imperial Valley to Pomona specifically to attend Cal Poly.... Interests : I love music (anything from rap to metal to indie pop), keeping up to date with celebrity gossip, and also following makeup and skincare trends. Hobbies : Pre-covid I loved going to concerts, museums, and trying all kinds of restaurants. I also enjoy cooking and baking and playing board games with all my friends. I used to be into Crossfit and am trying to get back into fitness! How to impress a company recruiter : Keep eye contact and start a conversation- make sure it's not just you talking!

Officer Spotlight Sara Chen | EE | Vice President Fun Facts : If I happen to take a nap it tends to be 4 hours long, and in the beginning of COVID19 I logged over 400+ hours playing Animal Crossing New Horizons.... Interests : L O V E rose flavored desserts, potatoes, binge watching shows on Netflix and Hulu, listening to edm, simp, or throwback music, following new makeup and skincare trends, and Gudetama. Hobbies : In my free time I tend to pick up random hobbies involving arts and crafts, one in which is doodling more to create my own stickers, I occasionally do tarot card readings for friends, and I like to cook random simple recipes I find scattered throughout my social media. How to impress a company recruiter : I start by smiling and shaking their hand (Pre-Covid19) with a short introduction, then ask how their day is. This way I come off as enthusiastic yet relaxed enough to have a casual conversation about what the company can offer or sharing my qualifications to fit what they are looking to hire!
