Meet the driver . . . JJ Pack who can be seen driving at his home track Dominion Raceway. His motivation is to prove to other's that winning can be done witho...ut huge backing. JJ says that one person that has helped him become the driver he is today would have to be hiz spotter Brian Donati. The way they have trust with each other. JJ says Brian allows him to be able to focus on the driving more !! JJ says how he got his number is a funny story. So when he started racing he was always the #6 car however that number is always taken. So he went to the 16 until the higher in the ranks he moved up that number was taken. So he decided to flip it to the 61 and seems like rarely anyone wants that number !! Lol The one thing JJ would have changed about his 2019 season is he would not have rushed to try to get to races with an unprepared racecar . It seemed to set them back more than anything. A team that JJ knows would always be there to help out if needed would be Matt Bucher at Rev Racing. One thing that JJ feels tracks could do to help make it better would be to lower the ticket fees for the fans. As well as have more events where the driver's interact with the fan's. JJ's racing hero is Mark Martin. If JJ could of had an hour to speak to any driver it would of been Alan Kulwicki because he was an owner, driver, and understood all aspects of the racing world! If JJ could pick any three driver's past or present to run a special race with he would select Mark Martin, Rusty Wallace, and Dale Earnhardt Sr.. JJ grew up watching these greats hustle racecars around. He thinks it would have been a dream come true to have the chance to rub doors with anyone of these 3!! Choose your lane restarts it can cause you to have the best run ever and then cost you a top 5 in the end. JJ's pet peeve is he doesn't like to drive a red race car. JJ's biggest cheerleaders are his wife Heather and his dad. If money was no object JJ would want to try the NASCAR Gander Outdoors Truck Series. He feels like it’s a series that has a great mix of tracks and it’s a very competitive series!! JJ didn’t race for points this year due to early accidents in the season.
