I'll be honest. With a background in elementary education, I figured this whole homeschooling thing would be NOT ONLY a breeze, but also a rare yet enjoyable bonding experience for the girls and me. After week one I was reminded why I made the decision not to teach: so. much. ANXIETY. Don't get me wrong, I love putting their curriculum together (I mean, they're kindergartens so it's not like it's rocket science) but keeping up their motivation is like pulling teeth some days. If I turn my back for two seconds they’re inundating me with I’m bored! Can we go play?! When is pretend school oveeeeer? Ugh. I'm sure many of you are feeling similarly thrust into this role as teacher/mother/housekeeper/(and still businesswoman). So if you are feeling shitty some days, know you're NOT ALONE!
