What is Botched Ink? It’s a type of tattoo solution used to lift, improve, shift or remove unwanted microblading or cosmetic tattoo or PMU that has shifted colors or is too saturated to touch up any longer. Many clients don’t realize that the skin is like a sponge - it can only hold so much pigment. And, even when the color shifts or fades, the pigment is still taking up room in the skin. ... A lot of clients reach out to me to have their brows touched up, or the shape updated and don’t realize that I can’t just tattoo over a tattoo and change it. I explain it like this: covering an existing tattoo is like trying to paint over an oil painting with watercolors - most times, we must wash out some of the existing pigment before we can rework it. Did you know that overextending the tail of your brows can create a droopy effect, drawing down your face and making you look, well, a little sad? Your eyebrows naturally stop at a place that lifts your face up and out, and you want to maintain that angle. To measure where the tail of your brow needs to end, place a brow pencil diagonally at your nostril and line it up with the side of your eye. Where the pencil hits your brow bone is where the end of your eyebrow should end (or can be extended to) without it looking fake.

Lash line enhancement subtly adds definition and colour to your lash line to create the appearance of thicker lashes. Permanent eyeliner can vary from a medium line along the lash line to enhance and widen your eye and give a more awake appearance, to a bolder thicker line to make your eyes ‘pop’.
