BREWERY ARTWALK - PREVIEW SHOW SPOTLIGHT Join us on October 24th and 25th for our1st Virtual Brewery Artwalk and visit the worlds largest art colony from your home! FEATURING: Teale Hatheway... Teale Hatheway is a Los Angeles based artist known for her mixed media paintings and installations of local architecture, streetlights and ornamental details. At its core, Hatheway’s work is about people. She contemplates ideas of memory, experience and the soulful residues left behind as people inhabit, focus on, use and pass through physical spaces. Hatheway uses the visual languages of architecture, infrastructure, color and pattern to suggest the depth and complexity of the life of the city. Through these visual clues, her abstract paintings tease recognition but require intentional inquiry to decipher. They beg viewers to unplug and tune into the tangible history surrounding them.

Marshall Vanderhoof is an award winning fine art photographer based in Los Angeles, CA. His hope is to evoke emotion and provide inspiration through his photography. His great grandmother gave him his first camera so he could take pictures while at summer camp, and from that point on Marshall has always had a passion for photography. As he got older, instead of following his creative ideas and passions Marshall spent 8 years in the U.S. Army, got a B.S. Degree in Accountancy from National University in San Diego, CA, and a couple of years later finished an MBA at the University of San Diego, in San Diego, CA. Since something was missing Marshall went back to his roots and started taking photographs in any free time he could find, and started taking photography classes. In 2013 he graduated with honors with a Certificate of Photography from San Diego City College. In early 2017, Marshall relocated to the Brewery Artist Lofts in downtown Los Angeles to further his photographic career. Whatever the future holds for Marshall, he expects that photography will be a part of the journey. For more info visit MJVphoto.com

Sykes paintings have been exhibited widely here in Los Angeles and across the country including the Museum of Art + History (MOAH) in Lancaster, USC Hillel Art Gallery and Tobey C. Moss Gallery. She was recently featured on HGTV’S Extreme Homes in an episode highlighting her work on Sycamore House, a project where she designed a shadow motif of sycamore trees that was sandblasted onto the entire outside of a new home in Pacific Palisades.
