On I Cantori's FB page today.
I Cantori di Carmel mourns the loss of a former member, Steven (Solomon) Yoo, who passed away in October 2020. He composed a beautiful and haunting setting for Psalm 23, The Lord Is My Shepherd, for us to perform in our December 2015 concert. We present this recording in Steven's honor. Peace.
Solomon (Steven) Yoo sang with us in I Cantori, and composed "The Lord is My Shepherd," which we performed in December 2015. Rest in peace, Steven.

Thank goodness researchers are studying the spread of virus while singing - maybe we can get back to it sooner with new information! https://www.theguardian.com//sing-funnel-covid-19-lab-hopi

A number of our I Cantori singers past and present participated in Eric Whitacre's amazing project "Sing Gently" premiering today, featuring 17,572 singers! Tag yourself if you were there! Here's the video about its creation, and the incredible amount of technology required to make it happen. A link to the final video will be posted separately. https://www.cbsnews.com//sing-gently-by-eric-whitacre-cre/
For those of you missing quality vocal music, you might want to consider purchasing a ticket for Live From London, a weekly concert series. Tickets benefit musicians impacted by COVID-19 and also supports choral music. Chanticleer, based in San Francisco, is included in this work. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=er0SsfWdhZc&feature=youtu.be
