Cats make the world a better place! Happy National Cat Day! Today we celebrate the memories of two of our cats of the past, Toonsis (the handsome gray tabby) and Spokes (orange stripey guy). Spokes served as the inspiration for the Hypercat logo. He got his name because he preened his whiskers and attempted to chew on bicycle spokes when we was a wee little lad. Toonsis was a rescue kitty from Syracuse, NY and lived in Boston, visited NH often and traveled to San Francisco when he became a CA transplant. He lived out his latter years in Ventura, CA. Following up the halibut gift from @timothycurrall yesterday, we were gifted these fine lobsters this evening by Jim O. - fresh off the boat! Caught in a cove off of Santa Cruz island. We have had another rough week with criminals targeting our shop, but acts of kindness really help us to pull through. Many thanks to Jim.
