Pastor Mike is shaking things up at HBCC. The new series is about, "I Need A Miracle". Today Pastor Mike spoke on the miracle at Jericho where Jesus grants Bartimaeus cry for a healing of his blindness. It was in his boldness and insistence and his earnest plea that Jesus called him out. Pastor Mike pointed out that Bartimaeus's request was to the point. That we, when we petition God in prayer and ask for our miracle should also know what we are praying for. It was at this po...int in the story that we find our Lord telling Bartimaeus: Go, said Jesus, your faith has healed you. It is with the faith of a mustard seed, the smallest amount, that can be enough for us to experience the extravagant love of our Father. Don't miss this series.
