If you ever thought about opening your own child care center, now is the time and we can help. California is in great need and the demand will only grow as individuals return to the workplace. "Statewide, there were 3,635 fewer active home-based child care licenses (about a 14% decrease) and 4,873 fewer center-based licenses (a 33% decline) in January of this year compared to January 2020..." #earlychildhoodeducation #reachhigher #careerpossibilities... https://www.sbsun.com//parents-may-be-in-for-a-rude-awake/ See more

Tough childhood experiences can play a role in one's adult choices. Dave Lockridge, CEO and Founder of ACE, teaches individuals how to become aware of their emotional and physiological destructive behaviors that were caused by early childhood stressors, such as abuse, neglect or a dysfunctional household. Understanding these behaviors and patterns is important for individuals in early childhood education, as well as parents. Tune in tomorrow to NAMI San Joaquin's event "Connecting in a Disconnected World: Understanding and Overcoming Adverse Childhood Experiences" presented by Dave Lockridge at 6:00 PM via Zoom. This event has no cost, but requires registration. Register online at https://www.eventbrite.com/e/community-presentation-connect

Our graduates are nothing short of inspiring. Check out this article where The Ceres Courier highlights Caleb Maher, who received his Bachelor's in Business at Humphreys. Interesting fact about Caleb: he was a ninth-round pick of the Anaheim Angels in 2002. https://www.cerescourier.com//maher-played-three-seasons-/
