I also wanted to let you all know that I will not be returning back to work until January so that Judah and I have all the family bonding she deserves . Hi Everyone, My name is Adi, and I am creating this gofundme for my good friend and mentor Eliza Arakelian . Eliza (Ellie) the owner of Blue Orchid Beauty arrived to work today, only to find her studio had been broken into and everything of great value was stolen. To say that this is disheartening news is an understatement. Her livelihood was dependent on all the equipment and merchandise that was stolen from her.... Anyone who has had the pleasure of knowing her, whether it be personally, professionally, or through passing knows that she is the most giving and selfless person you could ever meet. She is always one of the first people to volunteer to help, organize and or donate for others in need and she now needs our help. Over $65,000 dollars worth of equipment and merchandise was stolen from her today. Equipment and merchandise that she has acquired over the 10+ years as an Esthetician. Things for every esthetician in California, have been rough due to the pandemic and state/county shut downs, to now have to navigate this type of loss to her business is detrimental. I am hoping that together we can help lessen this burden for her and get her business up and running again. If you can find it in your hearts to help her in her time of need, it would be greatly appreciated.

A R O M A T H E R A P Y Aromatherapy is defined by the use of aromatic plant extracts & essential oils in massage or baths . Many, including myself believe that using your sense of smell can actually improve your body and mental state .... I mean really think about it, often times whether good or bad the sense of smell can bring an array of emotions and physical reactions, it’s quite powerful . The smell of perfume/cologne can bring back such fond memories of a passed loved one, or a sense of home . On the contrary the smell of a specific food can literally remind you of the one time you got food poisoning or just super sick, and till this very day make your tummy turn . Well Aromatherapy or the use of essential oils is often used in a treatment to calm stress & anxiety . As many of you, I oftentimes (more than I’d like to admit to myself lol) find myself wanting to escape the craziness of these past few months. I mean, WTH 2020 ? Am I RIGHT??? Here is a list of essential oils that you can add to your bath, your diffusers, your lotions, or just into the palm of your hand to help relax, calm, or even invigorate you . - Lavender : believed to slow your heart rate & even lower your blood pressure . - Geranium : believed to relax your body in the same way lavender does . - Peppermint : is believed to sharpen your mental focus, allowing you to concentrate and feel alert and energized . - Frankincense : Known for is many healing properties. Help protect our cellular health. Frankincense can also be used as a mood stabilizer to help us ride out these crazy unpredictable times we are living . Like always, it is best to make sure that when you find an essential oil that you make sure that its not a synthetic essential oil and comes from a reputable company . I recently was introduced Young Living and so far am pleased with the quality of oils they have to offer. Not gonna lie, these last six months have been so challenging! . . . Today is my 1yr anniversary of opening Hummingbird Esthetics . ... . Opening my own business and doing something that I absolutely LOVE was a HUGE accomplishment. I am so blessed to be surrounded by such amazing people, my hubby, parents, in-laws, my comadre, @blueorchidbeauty and all of my friends, who have loved and supported me through every step ! . . Thankful for my clients who continue to trust and support me even in these trying times . . . . This is not how I imagined my 2020 going (like all of us), but I am still very much blessed. . I started off in a little section of a room, and am so grateful for that opportunity, and now I have my own room and am ready for when they allow us to open our doors again . .
