Times are uncertain and maybe even a little scary for you, but we hope you’re taking the opportunity to enjoy the beautiful weather with your pooch

Due to Humboldt County’s shelter-in-place order, HumDOG will not be holding classes until at least April 13th. Again, this is a fluid situation and these dates may change. We will continue to keep you updated! If you have already paid for classes, we will be in contact with you soon regarding your options to either transfer your fee to future classes or receive a refund. Because the shelter-in-place order does not restrict you from going out and enjoying nature, make sure that you do...and take your dog!

In an effort to mitigate the potential spread of COVID-19 in our community, HumDOG has made the decision to suspend classes until further notice. This is a very dynamic situation and we will be making decisions regarding when to resume classes on a week-by-week basis. We will keep you all informed the best we can. Huge congrats to the most recent HumDOG class of CGC recipients! The AKC Canine Good Citizen (CGC) program focuses on teaching the basics of good manners and obedience to the dogs, as well as instilling the values of responsible ownership in their humans Dogs that are able to pass the test earn the official AKC CGC title to add to the end of their name! Any dog is eligible whether they are AKC registered or not, purebred or mixed. If you’re interested in putting a CGC title on your dog, keep an eye out for our next round of classes!
