If you didn’t know, I’m a big advocate for the mental health issue that the world is currently facing. I’m getting tired of people downplaying it and putting blame on social media. In my opinion, social media does not cause people to be depressed. The ability to not be yourself, being told how you should feel, trying to have people explain to you how you should feel are all things that can cause more harm than a social media influencer posting only the good stuff going on i...n their lives. We currently say we have a homeless problem, instead of saying we have a rent is too damn high problem or a people don’t get paid enough to be able to afford anything problem. Change the narrative and you’ll see a new perspective come through. I admit watching my son grow up so fast hurts because I want him to stay little much longer. But the fact that I know our time is limited is what allows me to enjoy every second to the fullest. Fun fact, I started doing comedy cause my son told me I should. Making him laugh is my favorite thing to do, and nothing else I could do could ever come close to the way it makes me feel when he’s laughing his ass off cause of something I said.
