Hey, look who it is! When your a small business like mine you take any help you can get! Meet the other half of Hometown Appliance Repair. Yep, he’s scratching his head in relief and baffled that we actually got this built in microwave out of the cabinet! Phew

I found this great video on what not to cook in the microwave. Even I as a repair person never knew about grapes. But I like mine cold not warm. I am glad they pointed out that you should not turn on the microwave with nothing in it. They did not say warming a plate is harmful if you are just warming a plate but it is just like cooking nothing. I do not recommend warming just your plates in the microwave. If you must please add a cup or 2 of water. Microwaves need moisture to absorb into otherwise the microwave will bounce around inside the cavity and send its signal to its source and overtime destroy it. A magnetron replacement is generally an uneconomical repair.
