Oregon Passes New Law During the Covid-19 Pandemic New Oregon law precludes most judicial and non-judicial foreclosures during the emergency period defined from March 8, 2020 to September 30, 2020. The statute voids most foreclosure sales that have already occurred during the period, forbids new judgments/writs, and requires dismissal during the emergency period. The statute allows a lawsuit if there is a failure to comply and recovery of attorney fees (https://olis.oregonlegislature.gov//Measur/HB4204/Enrolled.
