It is with shattered hearts that Erin and I announce the indefinite closure of Hourglass Salon+Boutique. As many of you know, Erin and I have a bond unlike many others; we were born 14 months apart and have been inseparable since the start. As long as we can remember we’ve had a dream of combining our two passions and creating a space that made everyone entering it feel like they were walking into their friends closet for a much needed glass of wine and uncensored chit chat. ... In May 2014, with an infant in tow, we executed our dream and opened the doors to Hourglass Salon and Boutique. During those 6 years we created incredibly supportive and unbreakable relationships with our stylists as well as you, our clients, many of which turned into lifelong friendships. We added another baby, got Erin hitched and lived and learned through it all and now we’re here. This year has been extremely trying for just about everyone and we, unfortunately, are no exception. We fought hard to keep our doors open. We fought hard to keep everyone safe and sound inside the walls of our beloved HG. We fought hard to be able to see all of you every single day, because we love you all so much, but again, we’re no exception to the uncertainty of what this year has brought us. All Erin and I can do, while crying a puddle of tears, is say thank you. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts for aiding in making our dreams come true. We have enjoyed being a part of your lives and we hope Hourglass has left an impression on your hearts as much as you have on ours. Michelle, Veronica, Sonya, Jordan and Vanessa: Your unwavering support from day one has never gone unnoticed and we are forever indebted to you for trusting us with your business. Your grace, strength, passion and kind souls have taught Erin and I so much and we are grateful everyday to have been able to cross paths with such empowered women. To our family and friends: We love you. We cherish you and we will thank you forever more for your constant encouragement and unwavering support. Your stylist’s will be contacting you regarding their future plans, but you are more than welcome to reach out to us via direct message and I will get you in contact with whomever you need. We are closed effective immediately, which means our phones will no longer work, but again, reach out and let us know if you need anything from us. Thank you forever and always for loving on us for the past 6+ years. We will see you around.
