Horseman's Hangout

THIS is a disaster in the making. Not if but when will accidents and deaths happen. The roads wind and there are dangerous drop offs. There are so many places for bikers and hikers. This is the ONLY place for equestrians only. It is a place to safely ride and train young non veteran horses. Please please please send letters to all in government all the way up to the Supervisors. I rode today and every place on the only road in and out we were commenting that bikes coming do...wn the road would be a disaster as there is no way to weave around each other the way the terrain is. Horses will be spooked and the only question is who will become the sacrificial lambs before they realize the disaster in combining bikes/hikers with horses on these trails. There is one way in and out and there is not room for bikes coming down to meet up suddenly with horse riders coming up. See more

Celeste starts her lesson with Gentile today. Her favorite boy. He started with zip ground manners and would run anyone over. These two have come a long waysgood job!

Alanis lunges Bambi at liberty and works with her willingness to come in as well as her ability to communicate for her to keep going. Body language and positioning and paying attention to the horse's body language all contribute to this working successfully for both of them!! Way to go!

Alanis gets a shot at riding Bambi bareback and bridleless!! She looks great and is developing some nice confidence!! Good job!!

She ended up sooo skilled. This was the very beginning of her journey here. Phila was one of her two favorites. Gentil and Phila.
