Happy Medical Laboratory Professionals Week! According to ASCLS, in the United States, there are more than 4,000 IVD diagnostic tests available and over 300,000 clinical labs providing the testing. This results in over 7 billion clinical lab tests being performed annually, and this would not be possible without you, the professional laboratorian! HORIBA Medical would like to take this week, April 22 - April 28, to acknowledge the vital role you play in the diagnosis and prev...ention of disease. We thank you for all you do on a daily basis in the clinical lab, and recognize the great job you do to provide test results that allow physicians to diagnose, treat and monitor patients every day. We appreciate your hard work and dedication to your profession, which helps ensure healthier patient lives not just this week but all year long! We hope you have a fantastic week celebrating with your teams.

We just celebrated 45 years of HORIBA in California and in the Americas! We had a huge aloha themed celebration in Irvine, CA and included connecting our eight other U.S. locations. Joy & fun for all in celebration of the next 45 years!

Every year, we participate in the Salvation Army Angel Tree Program. This is an anonymous donation program for 1 million children who usually have to go without Christmas gifts. This year we received 40 tags for boys and girls ranging from 1 month to 12 years in age. The gifts were just picked up to deliver to the kids and there will be smiles on all of our faces thinking about the happy children on Christmas!
