We are thrilled to announce that after careful planning, Hopscotch Children’s Dentistry is OPEN. We will do our best to reappoint everyone in the order their visits were missed, with special consideration given to children who are in pain or have other urgent conditions. We appreciate your patience and understanding as we try to catch up on three months of delayed dental care. While many things have changed, one thing has remained the same: our commitment to the safety of our... patients and staff. Infection control has always been a top priority for our office, and our protocols are designed so that when you receive care, it’s both safe and comfortable. We closely follow the recommendations of the American Dental Association (ADA), the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA). Hopscotch Children’s Dentistry has gone above and beyond those guidelines by implementing the most advanced infection control technology available. For example, we have installed hospital-grade HEPA air purification units throughout the office to ensure we have the cleanest air possible. We are augmenting our sterilization processes between each patient with a system that deactivates any virus particles that may be present in the air or on surfaces. It is safe and highly effective. The office will be rigorously disinfected throughout the day, including wiping door handles and other high-touch surfaces. Additionally, all staff members are being tested for Covid-19 and screened daily. You will also see some changes when it is time for your next appointment. For example, we are screening all patients for temperature and oxygen levels. We are using a virtual waiting room and we are limiting the number of people in the office at once.
