If you filed your taxes and you didn’t take the mortgage insurance premium you can amend your taxes. Congress voted at the last minute to changed the law. Als...o parents if your child attended college and your child worked it’s a good ideal to bring in your tax information together and see how the education credit will benefit you. Don’t forget to get the 1098 T. If you don’t have it you can contact you child’s college or pull it off the college website. Lastly the tax reform bill that was voted in and signed by the president will be for next years filing. Things you can do right now to help your lower your tax liability 1. Increase your 401k 2.
