Love Shoe Box....

Just heard a sermon on this, and I must share: Do you believe in the promises of God? God is a god who keeps His promises exactly, down to every detail! Here's a promise to us - especially to those who sacrifice and work for the good of the "disciples" (or other believers):... Matt 10: 41 The one who receives a prophet because he is a prophet will receive a prophet's reward, and the one who receives a righteous person because he is a righteous person will receive a righteous person's reward. 42 And whoever gives one of these little ones even a cup of cold water because he is a disciple, truly, I say to you, he will by no means lose his reward." Every sacrifice you make as a member of Holy Wave Choir are noticed and remembered by God. I or church may not be able to reward you and show enough appreciation, but God will not forget and store up all of your rewards. Keep up the good work everyone, and God Bless you!

The second paragraph if this post really struck me. Let us continually pray and come to God with repentance and humbleness. May we not dwell on worldly trends, but in God's everlasting Word!

Let us continually approach God with repentance and broken hearts and experience His mighty salvation! The Lord is near to the brokenhearted and saves the crushed in spirit. Many are the afflictions of the righteous, but the Lord delivers him out of them all. Psalms 34:18-19 ESV http://bible.com/59/psa.34.18-19.ESV

Paul urges us all to keep God's commandments spotless (aspilos) or pure until the return of Christ. It's a tall order, considering our constant struggle with sin. But we must remember that as we fight the "good fight in faith" and "be rich in good works," we are storing treasures up in heaven. Let us all encourage one another to fight the good fight and be rich in good works today. 1 Timothy 6: ... 12 Fight the good fight of the faith. Take hold of the eternal life to which you were called and about which you made the good confession in the presence of many witnesses. 13 I charge you in the presence of God, who gives life to all things, and of Christ Jesus, who in his testimony before Pontius Pilate made the good confession, 14 to keep the commandment unstained and free from reproach until the appearing of our Lord Jesus Christ, 18 They are to do good, to be rich in good works, to be generous and ready to share, 19 thus storing up treasure for themselves as a good foundation for the future, so that they may take hold of that which is truly life.

To whom do you put your trust in? Isaiah 31:1-3 1 Woe to those who go down to Egypt for help... and rely on horses, who trust in chariots because they are many and in horsemen because they are very strong, but do not look to the Holy One of Israel or consult the Lord! 2 And yet he is wise and brings disaster; he does not call back his words, but will arise against the house of the evildoers and against the helpers of those who work iniquity. 3 The Egyptians are man, and not God, and their horses are flesh, and not spirit. When the Lord stretches out his hand, the helper will stumble, and he who is helped will fall, and they will all perish together. See more

It's been way too long not posting. Sorry about that. Here's something I'd love to share this morning.... If God doesn’t answer one more prayer that I ask forI need to remember that He’s promised to never leave me or forsake me, and that He will walk every winding path with me, because He’s given me the Holy Spirit. And to prove that He CAN (and will) KEEP His promise, He has died on the cross and rose in three days. ... If HE can rise from the death, I believe HE can keep His promise that He'll never leave me or forsake me.

There's never a random event in God's Kingdom. The "Shvuot" (one of the Old Testament festivals) or the Harvest Festival happens 49 days after Passover. Pentecost happens 49 days after (or 50 days if counting the Passover) Passover. First festival is about giving thanks to God for his provisions, the fruit of the land. Pentecost is the "First Fruit" of Jesus' death and resurrection.

"God is a mathematician," says Dr. Kaku. King David says, "Heavens declare the glory of God; and the sky above proclaims His handy work. When we look at the universe and all of the creation, they all shout God's majestic power! http://ageac.org//scientist-says-he-found-definitive-proo/

May we also pray humbly like King David... Psalm 19: 14 Let the words of my mouth and the meditation of my heart... be acceptable in your sight, O Lord, my rock and my redeemer. See more
