God willing, a full day today! We are open and you are welcome! Divine Liturgy at 9 AM and Vespers at 6 PM. At 12:30 PM, we'll have a zoom "Intro to Orthodoxy" class where we'll answer questions and consider Holy Week and Pascha in the Orthodox liturgical tradition. If you need the link, please reach out to Fr. Kirill. And, of course, tomorrow's Divine Liturgy will be at 10:00 AM.

With faith in Christ and hope in the Resurrection, we share news of the repose today of His Beatitude, Metropolitan Theodosius. Metropolitan Theodosius was the head of the Orthodox Church in America from 1977 until his retirement in 2002. He led many celebrations at Holy Trinity Cathedral including the visit of His Holiness, Patriarch ALEKSY II in 1993. In June of 2002, on the eve of his retirement, His Beatitude led our Cathedral in the celebration of Holy Pentecost. Sup...ervisor Gavin Newsom and the Board of Supervisors designated that Pentecost Day Metropolitan Theodosius Day in San Francisco. You can see photographs from that festal weekend here: https://www.holy-trinity.org//2002.06.23.pentec/index.html We will celebrate a panikhida at 1:00 this afternoon at the Cathedral and another on Wednesday after Vespers. Memory Eternal!

Thanks to your generous donations we have not only been able to take care of our own parishioners who have lost their homes or have been evacuated - but we are ...also feeding hundreds of homeless children, getting diapers and fresh water to families, and handing out grocery store gift cards... The work continues! We are working on helping our low income neighbors out of the toxic air and into temporary housing and hotel rooms. See more
