The Holy Nativity Community Garden has been an oasis of peace and abundance in these unprecedented times. As the seasonal changes grace us with cooler weather, we are offering a monthly opportunity for the congregation to support the garden. This Sunday, October 18, from 3:00 P.M. to 6:00 P.M., please join us for an afternoon in the garden to prepare the grounds for our new Rector Father Michael! Our Garden Facilitator Azita Banu will guide you through some tasks to keep H...oly Nativity shining. Please be sure to bring water, closed toe shoes, and your favorite gardening gloves. In addition, we will practice social distancing and face masks are required on the grounds. If you are unable to join us this Sunday, October 18, monetary donations are appreciated. If you wish, you may drop off a donation on October 18 between the hours of 3:00 P.M. to 6:00 P.M., or you may mail a donation in care of the church address. Please be sure to reference Garden with your donation. Thank you! Volunteers and donors are welcome to take home seeds, plants, and planting containers and/or share some of the garden blooms with their communities. Tasks to sign up for include: 1. Weeding meeting 3:00 to 4:00 P.M. 2. Compost work 4:00 to 5:00 P.M. 3. Garden clean up 5:00 to 6:00 P.M.
