This years lottery is called the DV-2019 Lottery and online registration period for the DV-2019 Program already began on Wednesday, October 18, 2017 at 12:00 noon, Eastern Daylight Time (EDT) (GMT-4), and will end on Wednesday, November 22, 2017 at 12:00 noon, Eastern Standard Time (EST). Paper entries are not accepted. There is no fee to enter the Diversity Visa lottery; if a website requests you pay a fee in order to enter the program the website is not the official website and is likely a scam. (Please note that while there is no fee to enter the lottery, winning applicants will need to pay the visa application fee when they interview.
