February 23rd. 1965; the day one of the funniest souls on earth made his friends and fans cry. He left behind laughter and joy that entertains and inspires to this very day. Remembering Stan Laurel on this solemn day. God Bless Stan.

The incredible Peter Sellers promoting Being There on The Today Show. At the 6:30 mark he is asked how he created the voice for Chance the gardener and credits Stan Laurel. He was a big fan of Laurel and Hardy so it’s no surprise.
