We miss running films with you. We will again. Until then, here’s a rarity; frame grabs from footage taken on the set of Atoll K.
February 23rd. 1965; the day one of the funniest souls on earth made his friends and fans cry. He left behind laughter and joy that entertains and inspires to this very day. Remembering Stan Laurel on this solemn day. God Bless Stan.
Believe it if not, this wonderful story about piano making artistry briefly mentions Laurel and Hardy and The Music Box.
This rare chrome photograph of an iconic 1932 movie location

A beautiful reconstruction of a hard to see compilation. Ray Faiola has done a masterful job on this.
June Marlowe is best remembered in the role of Our Gang school teacher Miss Crabtree but she was co starred with Rin Tin Tin in the silent era. Here she is in... frame grabs from a lost 1925 feature, Below The Line that survives as an abridged short subject in 9,5mm. Her leading man was John Harron. See more
Leroy Shield music plays as the carousel goes round and round. So appropriate- so beautiful.
The incredible Peter Sellers promoting Being There on The Today Show. At the 6:30 mark he is asked how he created the voice for Chance the gardener and credits Stan Laurel. He was a big fan of Laurel and Hardy so it’s no surprise.
Video from our February meeting when we spoke to relatives whose ancestors were involved in Laurel and Hardy The Music Box
