Friends, with #GivingTuesday coming up tomorrow, we are asking for your help to maximize our fundraising efforts. We have created an online fundraiser (link below) and ask that you share it tomorrow from your Facebook pages to help us reach more people. We're not going to candy coat this; COVID-19 has devastated our fundraising efforts. Almost all of our in-person fundraising, which we heavily rely on, has been canceled. Hey everyone we are coming up on the 4th. There are shelters that are full and need our help. Can anyone foster? We will be pulling all kinds of dogs. We really need your help to save lives.

Poor Magie and Abby's mom passed away and they find themselves needing a new loving home. They are great with other dogs, sweet and respectful. They are the tender age of 8 and 12 yrs old. They might have an accident until they get on your routine...but are basically house trained. They have no where to go and no one to love them. Desperately seeking foster or adopter for them. Can you help?

ADOPTION ANNOUNCEMENT: Tanka, originally rescued from El Cajon Animal Shelter Tanka's story is one of collaboration, partnership and trust. When you work togeth...er as rescues towards a common goal of advocacy then good prevails for all. Tanka had recently returned to our rescue because of unexpected family changes. They wanted to do what was best for her and give her the opportunities she deserved. In the meantime, Holly's Garden Rescue had asked for our help in placing a bonded pair named Sonny and Cher into foster and hopefully adoption. We have worked with Susan for years because she's honest, trustworthy and all about working together for the animals! Without thinking twice we said of course. One of our long time adopters for bonded pairs was interested in one of our other duos and the foster family couldn't part with them so we recommended Sonny and Cher and that was that. We didn't have to help them, technically they weren't our dogs to worry about but the question begs, "Does that really matter?" When you are in the business of advocating for homeless animals and fulfilling a vital community need then the only thing that matters is doing what's right for the animals. So you are probably wondering what this has to do with Tanka? Well here's where the story gets sweet for everyone. Susan with Holly's Garden had a great adopter but didn't have a dog that fit for her so she not only referred her to us but she also helped her pick out a dog from our website that would be a good fit. Oh boy, was she right! It turned out to be a perfect fit and Tanka has found her happily ever after. Congrats sweet girl! We are truly happy for your new beginning together!

Sonny and Cher need a FOSTER HOME no kids no other dogs. Cher is blind but gets around great. Sweet pups. Please help.

PET OF THE WEEK The Dynamic duo Sonny and Cher. Just 10 yrs young and sweet as the day is long. They have had dentals and bloodwork and their vet says they are healthy and ready for a forever home. Great with other dogs and cats and love bugs to the max. Cher is blind but gets around great. This bonded pair have alot of love to give. Do you? Here we go again. Looking for a foster or two. These little ones have just been released from a puppy mill. They will need patience and training and a warm home to lay their head. Can anyone open their home to these darlings who will finally get to know love.

UPDATE: yay our wonderful Alicia is fostering Sonny and Cher They are safe and been groomed. They are at the vets and they couldn't be sweeter or more loving. But we definately need a foster for these two. Meet Sonny and Cher

These two cuties are in the shelter in need of rescue. We desperately need funds as there are eyes with glaucoma dentals and senior panel work ups to be done. One is blind and they are a bonded pair. What a fabulous fundraiser. We would like to thank Landinis Pizza for letting us all get together at their fun patio. We would especially like to thank Dina at Bark House Grooming for putting together two incredible fundraisers To raise money to help Dory regain her sight.
