Just don’t quit!! Here are 3 tips on how to stay motivated! 1. Buddy up! Have a friend workout with you if possible daily, or a few times a week. You're less likely to skip a workout if you have an appointment to meet your friend there. Huge plus; you can hold each other accountable for staying on track with your fitness goals. 2. Track your body fat percentage monthly. Know what percentage you want to be in,and focus on hitting that goal. The athletic range for women is fro...m 13-18% and the fitness range from 19-22%. Make a specific goal and once you get there, it's all about maintaining that low body fat percentage. 3. Split up your workouts into activities. Instead of running on the treadmill daily, try to do a fun sport or activity as your cardio. Tennis, paddle boarding, zumba, basketball, whatever activity you love doing will keep your motivation charging! Save this post for later! Are you working from home? Step away from your desk! Here are simple ways you can move more every day: 1. Fit training into your week, aim for a workout Monday-Friday. You can do an online training session like our semi-private classes where you can train on your lunch break or any time of the day from the comfort of your home. All you have to do is grab your laptop and a few weights. Get results faster with fun and inspiring live training sessions that get your heart rate... up and burns calories. 2. Get out and walk! If you have the time, go out for an hour-long walk to get your body moving and more steps in. If you can't take a full hour break, then take shorter 20 minute walks a few times throughout the day. When you walk regularly, you can increase energy, burn more body fat, relieves stress, and boost your mood. 3. Every hour, get out of your chair and do a short burst exercise. Set an hourly reminder to get up and move your body, choose 1 exercise: 20 squats or lunges, 20 sit-ups, 20 glute-bridges, 20 jumping jacks, 20 mountain climbers. Mix it up and do a different exercise each hour or do the same one all day and see how many reps you can do in one day. Make it your own and have fun with it! 4. Do a little housework. You won't believe how much you move when you start cleaning your house. Take some breaks throughout the day to knock out some tasks like sweeping or mopping - turn it into a workout by adding in some ab twists! Even just running around the house to pick up clothes or your kiddo's toys, will help you get in more movement! Tell me below, what types of movement will you add to your routine going forward! I couldn’t be more proud!! Over 10lbs lost, more confident, better flexibility and healthier eating habits. Way to go Payton!! I joined Holly in May of 2020 hoping to better my health, I felt like COVID was really putting a damper on my regular workout routine. I worked with Vanessa 3 times a week in May and would run the other days. I lost 5 pounds in my first week from working out and watching my caloric intake that Holly provided for me. At the end of the month I had lost... 10 pounds. Then I switched to semi privates because the cost was a lot for me. I LOVE semi privates with Jen on Wednesday's, I kickbox and do Yoga on Monday/Fridays and run Tuesday/Thursday and Saturdays anywhere 3-4.5 miles. My weight is always at 151.2 or 150 now and I've never felt more fit or health conscious. I love getting my workouts in and I love how much my eating habits have changed for the better. I still eat things I like just in moderation and I feel so much better. My friends and family really started to notice in July my changes and how much more toned and healthier I looked. I try to just focus on lean muscle building and flexibility now more than weight. I am happy to have Holly and Jen and the team helping me and supporting me through my lifestyle change and continuing to challenge me month to month and week to week. - Payton W. See more
