Here's the Interactive Class Schedule and Calendar for January 2021

Here is a list of the extra things we include in our classes. This is for in-school as well as our interactive online classes.

There will be no Interactive Online classes Monday, January 18th. We're open all other days in January.

We open again Monday, January 4th, for interactive online classes. Check the HSDA website for the calendar, closed and special days, and the current class schedule. We also offer in-person private lessons, with the utmost safety of our students taken into consideration (see attached video).

2021 is the year to start pursuing the passion that lies within you. You want it. You need it. You deserve it.

Have you been listening to your doctor? Exercise is always good for the human element. Especially now, and for all ages. in-school or online. Reminder: online i...s a great way to get the exercise AND help the undue internet eyestrain. When you take dance and conditioning classes online you're at least 6 feet from the device, remember? You need a focus, an escape, enjoyable and healthy things to do to put you in a good mood and reduce your stress and anxiety. For you, and for your kids. Get back to doing what you love. The Barre-Barre classes will be changing their name to something more appropriate and accurately descriptive. It's more of a "Getting to Know Your Body Again" kind of thing. No pirouettes, no point shoes, no ballet. You can try it, or can keeping sitting (like you are now) in front of your device as your butt gets wider and flabbier (like mine). Your choice.

Schedule of all online and in-school classes for the week of Nov. 9th to Nov. 14th

It's so INAPPROPRIATE. It's been completely STRIPPED. "Barre-Barre" is INAPPROPRIATE! Acutally it's the name: It's not a proper definition of what we do in those classes. It makes it sound too much like a ballet class. If you've taken one, you know that the ballet stuff has been STRIPPED from them. I need your help: Please take a couple of classes (Tuesdays & Thursdays at 8:00PM) and let me know if you come up with a more accurate descriptive name.

We're not gonna let ANYTHING get in our way. Sunrise Ballet Nutcracker 2020 is scheduled for December 12th & 13th. The tradition will continue!

Our kids are getting the brunt of this. Not only are they going through the same situation, they are far less able to do much about it. As such, they are that more in need of an escape to something they enjoy, something pleasurable and healthy, something to ease their stress and anxiety (clarifying the issue). Yes, they're going to school, likely online. If you're not comfortable bringing them in to the school, have them take online. The classes are fully interactive... no "f...ollow the leader" shenanigans. I sit and watch and correct and answer questions, and let them know how great they're doing (my constructive suggestion). Too much online for them, you say? Poppycock. They're up a dancing and moving and jumping and stretching and learning the whole time, just like in-studio. Is money the issue? Contact me and we'll figure something out- your kids should take precedence (blowing holes in your excuses). Of course, they're your kids. The final decision on their long-term emotional and physical well-being is yours (guilt trip).
