We ask them to draw a picture of "home" and give a quote about what home means to them. From the entries, we pick 12 to be included in the next year's calendar.

We would like to thank the Children's Fund of San Mateo County, who provided 18 backpacks to the kids in our Self-Sufficiency Program in grades K-12. We are so grateful!

Last week. the affordable housing community lost a giant. John Stewart, the founder of the John Stewart Company, was not only tall in stature, but he also had a big heart. Throughout his 42-year career, John built more than 6.400 affordable apartments and managed more than 33,000 units throughout California. Care Packages were lovingly assembled by our Resident Services Coordinator and the Rotary Haciendas Property Manager, and personally delivered to each door at all three of our senior apartment buildings to lift the spirits of our residents during the shelter in place order. The HIP Housing Spirit Committee put on Virtual Paint Class with @pinotspalette_livermore! We got to paint Starry Night Over the Golden Gate. Everyone did a great job and had such fun painting together!
