Milkyway arch over Lassen Volcanic National Park at moonset. I spent an amazing night here in August of 2016 where I watched the Perseid Meteor Shower. For a ...360 degree view of this spot at sunset just go back a few pictures since I posted that up about a week ago. One of the best times was actually before the meteor shower really got going as I watched the moonset and the Milkway came out to play. I love how in a long exposure photograph you can see moonsets are so similar to sunsets in their coloring. This image is part of my 2021 Landscape and Astro Calendar.
