We couldn’t be more thankful for our clients support in 2020. Happy New Year to everyone! Looking forward to a healthy 2021!
#safetyfirst. All of our trainers and clients are required to wear a mask at all times. Trainers disinfect every piece of equipment after every use... no exceptions. #stopthespread.
At Hillinger Personal Training, we are doing our part to slow the spread of Covid-19. Here I workout with my workout partner David wearing face coverings; face coverings are required on all trainers and all clients, no exceptions. #stopcoronavirus #stopcovid19 #pandemicworkout
With everything that has been happening this year, nothing makes us happier than a satisfied client from all the hard work we’ve been putting in to keep clients safe and on track with their health and fitness. Thank you Jawad for working with us through the pandemic and for your dedication to your exercise program! https://www.google.com//data=!4m5!14m4!1m3!1m2!1s110295172
If you are looking for a private personal training facility that is serious about your health and following California State Covid-19 Industry Guidelines for Fitness Facilities, we are open with smiles under our masks. https://hillingerpt.com/our-workout-facility-has-reopened-/
Some good guidelines for exercising with a face covering. https://www.acefitness.org//exercising-with-a-face-coveri/
A picture from our video shoot early this year prior to the pandemic. This functional training exercise trains diagonal frontal plane fascia by incorporating upper and lower body motion at the same time. The diagonal plane is achieved through partial rotation. It helps keep the body’s range of motion, strength and mobility... if you don’t use it, you lose it.
I’ve been using periodization with clients for years and it definitely delivers the best results for strength and muscle gain. Learn all about periodization here. https://www.ideafit.com//periodization-for-maximizing-hyp/
A great article about how the immune system works and whether or not supplements can help... https://fitnessgenes.com//covid-19-how-do-i-boost-my-immun
Keeping clients on track with Skype and FaceTime workouts during quarantine.... message or email to inquire.
Happy to release our latest website video. We added more clips of our trainers working with clients. Many thanks to Chris Zam for his great work on the video.
Here I demonstrate a kneeling core functional training exercise I designed for trunk rotators and mobility. It’s a great exercise to develop core strength for sports like golf and different forms of martial arts that require trunk rotational strength. Notice how the motion comes from the core, while the arm merely holds the resistance. #funtionaltraining
Here is our latest blog update about the importance of proper conditioning of the rotator cuff. https://hillingerpt.com/the-importance-of-strengthening-ro/
New blog update. Read here about hamstring strength and flexibility! #hamstringgoals https://hillingerpt.com/the-importance-of-hamstring-streng/
Here is a great article on the IDEA website to get basic understanding of how the shoulder joint works and how to properly care for it. https://www.ideafit.com//mechanics-and-programming-for-sh/
The kickback, as I demonstrate here, is a safer way for the low back to get weights into position for dumb bell bench press exercises.
Here George positions his client’s foot on the leg press. The knee should align over the second toe next to the big toe during the motion. Flashback to seven years ago when we shot the video this picture was taken from. Happy New Year! We’ll see you in 2020!
Battle rope external rotation demonstrated here. Perhaps one of the more difficult motions with the battle rope; works shoulders. Engage shoulders back and center for proper neutral position. #shoulderworkout
