HVMS families, As a result of limitations this week in Hidden Valley Middle School’s ability to effectively operate an in-person hybrid model because of staff quarantines related to COVID-19, our superintendent has decided to implement a temporary suspension of all on-campus activities at Hidden Valley Middle School, including in-person instruction in the hybrid model and extended care. Please ask your student to log into their teacher's Google Classroom for more information.... Students will virtually attend periods 1-4 on Tuesday/Thursday, and periods 5-7 on Wednesday/Friday. On-campus instruction will resume for Hidden Valley on Tuesday, December 8. We recognize that this decision directly impacts our families, and we thank you for your support and patience as we continue to strive to provide your students with an exceptional learning experience in a safe and healthy environment.

TONIGHT! The Escondido High School District will be providing a virtual informational night for our 8th grade students and families about the different high schools in Escondido. AHORA! El Distrito de Escuelas Preparatorias de Escondido ofrecerá una noche informativa virtual para nuestros estudiantes de octavo grado y sus familias sobre las diferentes escuelas preparatorias en Escondido.

EUSD is a new beneficiary of the USDA Farmers to Families Food Boxes program. A limited number of these free food boxes will be distributed from 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. on October 13, October 19, October 26, and November 2 at HVMS. Boxes will be available while supplies last during the distribution window. Boxes are expected to include milk, cheese, yogurts, chicken, taco meat, potatoes, apples, onions, and carrots. HVMS Families, School starts TODAY for both our Full-Distance Learning and Virtual Hybrid students. All classes are virtual and begin at 8:00am on Zoom. Student schedules are currently available in PowerSchool. Make sure your child has used the Clever app on their iPad to access the Zoom Codes and Google Classroom codes they will need to participate in their classes tomorrow morning at 8:00am. HVMS Families, Welcome to the 2020-2021 school year! Even though we are starting the year with full distance learning, our goal is to provide our students with the best virtual education possible. This week, we are asking you to bring your student to HVMS for our drive-thru distribution event from 8:00am to 11:30 a.m. Please enter through our west parking lot near the Hidden Valley sign. At that time, students will receive textbooks, learning materials, a district iPad, a...nd activation instructions in order to be ready for the first day of school on August 25th. Face coverings are required during pickup. The distribution schedule by grade level is as follows: Monday, August 10 - 6th grade Tuesday, August 11 - 7th grade Wednesday, August 12 - 8th grade Thursday and Friday, August 13 and 14: Makeup days for all grades.
