What a gorgeous day to get caught up with one of our project delivery teams, currently on-site for a private school client in picturesque #SanFrancisco. The scope is no small feat, as you can tell by these remarkable #constructionprogress photos! We are cutting a 1960s-era historic school building in half, and constructing a new, integrated facility for the next generations of students in its place. @herrerobuilders has proudly delivered #preconstruction and #construction services to the Education and Historic Buildings sectors for nearly all of our 66 years in business. 2021 is no different, with two of our San Francisco-based school projects now in active construction phases!

We loved our time at Autodesk University in Las Vegas last week! Members of Herrero’s Innovation Group were wowed by new innovations, gadgets and platforms that will help transform our #construction workflows for the BETTER (#BetterStartsHere). The week was filled with lots of courses and activity-based learning moments including: Innovation, Equity & Inclusion, #WomenInBIM, Model-Based Earned Value Tracking, Plangrid Connect & Partner Integrations, and the Solar Light Challenge! We can’t wait to put these lessons to work. With help from Autodesk and all our peers and vendors, Herrero is committed to staying ahead of the technological curve that is reshaping our industry as we know it!

We are feeling doubly proud!! Congratulations to our Sutter Health CPMC Van Ness Campus Hospital project team for taking home not one, but TWO prestigious recognitions from the The Construction Users Roundtable (CURT) Awards ceremony for our excellence in Project Delivery and Safety. CURT presented the awards to members of our team on November 5, in Clearwater Beach, FL. On behalf of HerreroBoldt, congratulations to Sutter Health California Pacific Medical Center, all our risk reward partners, our trade partners, city officials, and the hospital staff. It’s truly an honor to represent and celebrate the winning results of this remarkable project on the national stage.
