Heads up Hermosa Beach Pickleball Players- The city will be requiring the use of City-provided Pickleball equipment ONLY from Tuesday, 2/9, to Saturday, 2/13, for the purposes of noise testing. Use of personal equipment will not be allowed during this time. All equipment will be thoroughly sanitized by staff between uses! We apologize for this inconvenience and appreciate your understanding and patience.

As much as we wished we could have been down in the sand with all of you, it was so much fun to see your Sand Snowman 2020 submissions! Thank you to ALL of our participants, we loved each and everyone of your creative creations! Special thanks to @hermosakiwanis for donating $50 gift certificates to their annual tree lot (certificates valid until 12/21/2021) to each of our winners!

We’ve already received a handful of amazing submissions for this year’s Sand Snowman Contest (picture in post from 2019). All you have to do is head to the beach with your family (single households only please), make THE BEST sand snowman you can possibly make, and submit it to us by 12/13 via our DMs or email! We’ll pick 5 winners to receive a holiday bucket full of treats & a $50 gift certificate to the @hermosakiwanis tree lot (good until 12/31/2021)! We’ll announce the winners on 12/18! Please remember that face coverings are required on the beach!
