New crop of Lambies practicing their running skills. I love them at this age!
The sheep are enjoying the Stay at Home. They appreciate not having to get up early for lessons. They wish you all good health.
Mary Torrano and her lovely Picard Lyra working today in the big arena. Spring is almost here.
Merry Christmas to Ewe all. Joyous Holidays and Happy New Year.
The Darqside girls had an awesome weekend. HC Lonestar Early Harvest " Sweet" bred by Kathy Scheideler Pavlich and HC Darqside Faye ran in the VacaValley Stockdog Clubs first ever AKC D course trial. Both girls earned their Advanced D sheep titles with Sweet going HIT 2 days and RHIT today. Faye, her daughter was RHIT and beat her mom today for HIT. But Sweet showed everyone she's not ready to retire, getting 2 perfect scores and Hi Combined overall. A big thanks to judges R...ochelle Stanford Diaz and Lisa Edwards for making this trial a most enjoyable one! A great way to end our trial season at Herding4Ewe. Also so incredibly proud of all who competed and helped. I was thrilled to handle: Zoom co owned with Kathi Kikuyama earned her Advanced D title with a RHIT. Levi co owned with Janis Teichman earned his Started D title. Deuce owned by Kelli McNeil Watkins earned his Advanced D title. Joy owned by Monica Salusky earned her Started D title. Ismay owned by Rhydonia Rhyring also earned her Started D title. See more
So proud of my niece Addie Pollard. She handled my boy Lonestar Lance to his AHBA Junior Herding Dog title today. They are an awesome team. Thanks to everyone for the ringside support and to Judges Laura DeLaCruz and Brian Wistrom for their encouragement and support of this young lady and old boy
We've hired a new Gardner crew!
Weather is miserable here. Sheep are happy and dry in the barn. And something pretty to brighten my day.
For those who wonder why we don't have trials here in the winter! That's 5 inches in the rain guage
Storm was so bad here the sheep were happy to be indoors.
Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to all.
A cold winter day watching Christine Emery working her lovely Beauceron boy Hogan!
First day watching the International Sheepdog Trial. It's amazing. Weather is good, dogs and handlers awesome and nice sheep. And a big surprise, we got to see Princess Ann.
