Kadosh in Every Realm Monday, April 5, 2021 Two words today... Kohayn and Kadosh. Kohayn means 'priest.' Kadosh means 'holy.' In 1 Peter 2 it says that if you'r...e born again, you belong to a royal priesthood. But what does that mean? Well, if you look at the high priest of Israel, you see he wore a crown on his head. Engraved on the crown was the word "Kadosh" or "Kodesh." "Kadosh L'Adonai," "Kadosh to the Lord." Kadosh means "Holy," "Separated," and "Consecrated to God." If you are God's priest, your life must be separated from the world to Him. A Kohayn, a priest, must be holy with regard to his or her home life, finances, temper, relationships and sexuality... Holy in treating one's parents, wife, husband, and children...holy in what one does in one's private life, in one's entertainment and pleasures. If you are Kohayn, a priest of the living God, then, above all, your life must be characterized by 'kadosh,' the quality of holiness and separateness to God. Put away that unholy thing and be kadosh as your Father in heaven is kadosh. For that is the crown of your priesthood. From Message #658 - The Call of The Kohanim Scripture: Leviticus 11:44 TODAY'S MISSION - Assume your royal priesthood today as you walk in holiness and separateness, consecrated to God in all that you do. Go ye into all the world and preach this gospel! The good news of Jesus Christ has gone around the world, starting in Israel. Now, it's time for the Gospel of Jesus Christ to come home to His own people!
Paul's Magnificent Failure While Paul was in Athens he sought to preach the Gospel. It was the city council that was in charge of granting such permission. We d...on't know that he ever obtained that permission. And we have no record of him spreading the Gospel throughout the city. So did he fail? Not at all. Paul preached the gospel in Athens at least once - on Mars Hill. And that one sermon on Mars Hill, the sermon of the Unknown God, was recorded and transmitted to thousands and millions of people, and launching countless missions to countless more people. In the same way, sometimes it may seem as if you've failed in the Lord. You didn't achieve what you set out to achieve. And you feel like a failure. But if you're in God's will, there is no such thing as failure. It's only a matter of obedience. Paul was obedient, and in his "failure" countless lives and nations would be touched for the gospel. So, too, you in God, if you're faithful, you can never fail - you just have no idea how successful you are. From Message #1254 - Showdown On Mars Hill Scripture: Acts 17:22 TODAY'S MISSION - What has God called you to do, yet you feel that you are failing at doing it? Don't give up, keep the faith and stay in the race. See more
We have been giving to this organization for a while now. We think that this is a very good way to preach the gospel of Jesus Christ. If you can join us in giving to just Love Anyway, that would be wonderful!
"We have been preserved, these many years, in peace and prosperity. We have grown in numbers, wealth and power, as no other nation has ever grown. But we have f...orgotten God. We have forgotten the gracious hand which preserved us in peace, and multiplied and enriched and strengthened us; and we have vainly imagined, in the deceitfulness of our hearts, that all these blessings were produced by some superior wisdom and virtue of our own. Intoxicated with unbroken success, we have become too self sufficient to feel the necessity of redeeming and preserving Grace, too proud to pray to the God that made us!" ~ Abraham Lincoln See more
The Reward of Angels Monday, September 21, 2020 You have heard of the angel Gabriel and the angel Michael, but did you know that there's another kind of angel ...- earthly angels - as in "you." In the Bible the Hebrew word for "angel" is "malach"; in the Greek, it is "angelos." That's why in English, the word "evangelist," which has the word "angel" right in the middle. Both the Hebrew and Greek word for angel are used not just for heavenly beings, but for flesh and blood people - as in John the Baptist, called an "angelos," and Haggai, called a "malach". An angel is one who is a messenger of God, who carries forth the gospel. And that's exactly what you are to be. So how do you live an angelic life? Angels don't get paid on earth - they can't, they're working for heaven. They never seek earthly rewards since their employer is not man but God. Therefore, to live an angelic life you have to stop seeking praise from men, and blessings from earth. Seek your reward only from God and your blessing only from heaven. And you will be blessed from His heavenly payroll and your life will be angelic! From Message #416 - Earth Angels Scripture: Luke 20:36 Today's Mission - Your assignment today is to be one of God's angels. Touch someone with an encouraging word or an act of kindness or the message of salvation. Hope of the World Ministries
