This woman is one of Heliotrope's best floral biz supporters in San Diego County Even during Covid19, she is busy with flowers, and always thinks of repurposing those celebration blooms after the long days of making wedding dreams come true <3

Today's roses to VITAS Healthcare Hospice were made possible with a generous donation from Carol, my Aunt Extraordinaire, in honor and memory of her sister, Shirley I love you so much- Know I think of you as we grieve our loss and celebrate Heaven's gain Thank you for celebrating Shirley's life with flowers, to comfort people who need a gift of beauty at this time in their lives <3

Sunflowers & Succulents, a perfect combination for a mid June delivery- thanks to the wonderful staff at Apreva Hospice (especially to caregiver Mary, for receiving the bins today, and taking a bit of time to tell me how your patients and their families love the flowers <3 ) and Deeanna & Shannon at @Advantage Hospice, for delivering the sunshine :)

Roses in June- classic beauty, symbolic of love no matter what the color. Sure, there are colors that represent certain emotions, but everyone has their favorite :) Rose bundles to 105 people in hospice care this week! so thankful for the efforts of amazing staff, volunteers and care givers at VITAS Healthcare, Apreva Hospice and LightBridge Hospice & Palliative Care. These kind people know the power of flowers, the gentle reminder of love & nature, a gift of beauty at a bedside. <3

I love the first line of this posting by LightBridge Hospice & Palliative Care- "Hope may not be a word many think of when it relates to hospice. Still, the hope associated with hospice care is knowing you will not walk this journey alone, there will be a hand to hold, someone to answer your questions, and your preferences will be honored and respected...."...... Even in these times, hospice care is essential, and the caregivers in the end are on a different kind of "front line" <3
