For those of you who didn't know Benji, he had helped the Heiva for years with our sounds and lighting. His professionalism and quality made us sure that we would be able to deliver a great event to our supports. Yet it was his kindness that should be noted. If we ever needed help, he was there. If we ever had a technical problem, call him up and he was willing. Benji always made it work with a positive attitude that made everyone else relaxed. I still can't believe it... My condolences to Rox, Benji's two children, and the Clanor family. You are in our thoughts and prayers Benji!

Do you know Ty? If not you SHOULD. The first time I met him he was so concentrated on prepping the mister Heiva SD contestants for their pageant, and after that I asked him to help with our backstage team. He said yes, and what happened after amazed me. He encouraged every single dancer who stepped up on our stage with nothing but positivity and goodness. Can you imagine what a difference that makes for the competitors? He makes a difference and is an example to all of us on... how we should treat people in our lives.
