Words cannot truly express the profound joy and gratitude I have for the well-attended HGLI MLK 6th Annual Leadership Luncheon we held on Monday, January 20, 2020. We reached full capacity because of your support. The youth stole the show and debated issues that hit at the heart of America. They debated issues such as should teachers carry guns in the classroom; should the U.S. close its boarders to stop flow of illegal immigrants; and whether African Americans have implicitly given other cultures the right to use the "N" word. Congratulations to the winners of the debates, and to all of our young people who participated in this awesome leadership Luncheon in of Dr. King. ---V. Jesse Smith
