Happy Dark Sky Festival! While we celebrate the darkness and wonder of our night skies, here in the Foothills we’d also like to give a shout-out to the sun. Wh...en it comes to the sun there can definitely be too much of a good thing, but this #FoothillsFavorite is necessary for life and inspires amazing plant and animal adaptations. For us humans, getting a bit of sun each day can enhance your mood, relieve stress, improve sleep, and produce Vitamin D! What’s your favorite way to enjoy sunshine? Stop by the Foothills Visitor Center on Saturday morning at 10 am for a 10-minute talk to learn more about the sun.
