"Sea to Sky" is a 12x12" painting that combines shippo (interlocking circles) and seigaiha (waves). I'd never really used neon colors in my paintings before this one, and I'm pretty happy with how it came out! https://heatherrobinson.com/sh/sea-to-sky-original-painting

Strange landscape.
Can't get over this color and texture.
Window filled with crackle glaze.
These two paintings are being delivered today to Art Works Downtown in San Rafael for their Small Works show, opening November 13.
Starting a bunch of small pieces for the holidays. Time is really zipping by!
Speed-painting the background for a new little bird piece.
More progress on this almost primary-colored painting.
A pair of commissions in progress - not exactly a diptych but they definitely need to go together.
This 30"x40" piece is the biggest thing I'm working on right now. It's a little awkward on my easel but I'm digging it.
Next step on this frilled canary. I am loving this deep dark blue-violet.
I'm using some neon pink in this small Seigaiha/Shipp piece, which feels a bit weird, but I'm going with it.
Crackles on my painting "Memory." https://heatherrobinson.com/shop-art/memory
I'm working on a bunch of new paintings, but they are all at the kind of boring-to-look-at beginning stages. However, here is a little frilled canary.

"Interlink" was a painting to help me loosen up a little, but I really enjoyed the freeform pattern-making and I want to revisit it soon. https://heatherrobinson.com/sho/interlink-original-painting
"Float" has gone to a new home but I have all the closeup pictures I took to console me
